The University Senate encourages all members of the campus community to submit proposals for improving the university. Proposals can be submitted through the senate office to be initially considered by the faculty leaders, who will forward them to the senate steering committee.
Depending on the issue, the steering committee may send the proposal to other senate committees for further study and development of a solution. Each proposal will be addressed, with the most substantive issues ending up on the senate floor as a resolution or rule change.
